The males in comics are on the idealized side too. It kind of goes with the superhero gig. True, you don't need a D cup to clobber the bad guys, but being athletic is a requirement I would think. While making fun of other body types is definitely wrong, so is insulting my intelligence by telling me someone with my body type (I shop at the big and tall store) can be a superhero.
