As you know, back in May/June, I started a complete read-through of the entire main-trunk Iron Man canon. So I'm sure you're wondering: where am I now?
Well, I'm almost at the point I plan to stop.
Mind you, I still have a lot of Avengers comics to get through -- not to mention other appearances and side-stories. In other words, there's still much fodder for commentary out there. (And my YouTube videos on the old comics will continue.) But there are a few things I'm simply not going to cover -- unless you want to watch me spit.
(Do you want to watch me spit? If so, I'll reconsider doing Axis/Superior Iron Man, aka Secret Empire for Tony-Stans.)
Reading everything in order has highlighted the truth: during Civil War, I think, people forgot how to write Tony Stark consistently. For every gem moment like this --
-- there's a moment of pure WTF-ery. It's so frustrating.
But I suppose I should look on the bright side: at least I'm not a Steve-Stan. Things could be so. much. worse.
